| WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT TENNESSEE RIVER GOLF CLUB
The Tennessee River Golf Club is located in Decatur County, the outdoor capital of Tennessee. The course offers tranquility and peace. The layout provides a unique challenge for the average to scratch golfer, with four sets of tees designed to accommodate all levels of play. The hilly terrain and an abundance of water on the back nine only enhance the challenge and pleasure. Also adding to the experience is the presence of wildlife such as deer, ducks, geese, and rabbits on the course.
COURSE LAYOUT
Tennessee River Golf Club is an 18 hole par 71 layout. With Bermuda grass tees, fairways, rough, and Bent grass greens, the best of southern golf is brought to life. With four sets of tee markers, and slope ratings ranging from 69.7 to 64.6 everyone will be able to enjoy a challenging but fair test of their game. The 506 yard, par-5 No. 7 is the best example of the quality of golf you will find on this course. This double dogleg is bordered by trees and plays from an elevated tee. Two creeks run across the fairway. Once you get to your approach shot, it is almost guaranteed to cross sand as the green is fronted by a bunker. The biggest challenge will be found at the 434-yard, par-4 No. 14. This hole plays as a slight up hill dogleg left that includes another creek to cross. A mature Cherry tree looms directly in play over the fairway. The green is elevated and slopes severely from back to front. This green demands the best approach shot possible.
TOURNAMENTS HOSTED
Tennessee River Golf Club has played host to both the District and Regional high school tournaments for boys and girls. Is an annual host to the Vince Gill Junior Tour, and is the permanent home of The Decatur County Amateur Championship & The Dixie Cup.

With Tennessee River Golf Club's close proximity to the Tennessee river and hundreds of acres of prime west Tennessee hunting ground there is something for the whole family to do.
